Wayne Newton, noted Republican King Maker, has cast his mighty spell in the direction of . . . wait for it . . . Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Newton, who doesn’t like or support President Obama, went on Fox News to back Reid, saying “”Anybody would be deaf, dumb, and blind to think that the second most powerful man in our nation, in terms of politics, should be replaced with someone else. Harry Reid is the best man I know for the job.”

I’m hoping the rip in the time / space / logic continuum causes Carrot Top’s head to explode. Now if we can find out who Cher backs, we can finally determine the fate of the nation.
